The Tower Festival

A light installation commissioned for the main stage of a music festival. It was designed in close dialogue with the architecture, which referenced Roman temple typologies. Planes of light were used to define the edges of the stage, shifting between an atrium and ceiling of light. In effect this created a sense of expansion and contraction of space, from the god's rays of the Oculus to being submerged under a luminous aurora.
