LCO Curtain Call

Bespoke 360° visuals to accompany Morton Feldman’s Mark Rothko Chapel, performed by the London Contemporary Orchestra at the Roundhouse for Ron Arad’s Curtain Call. Invoking the celestial, geological forms dissolve into constellations as the audience immerses the cavernous spaces of a single piece of flint.

The flint slowly rotates around the audience as if one was drifting in outer space. Endless amount of the detail are rendered thanks to a high resolution 3D scan. The surface of the stone becomes porous, solidifying and dissolving as a three dimensional point cloud. A sense of scalelessness and inhabitation capture the audience's imagination while the orchestra transports us further into Morton Feldman’s sonic landscape.
